That’s how to “like” something in Latin. Facebook will ask you “quid in animo tuo est?” instead of “what’s on your mind?” Hopefully not everyone will respond with MC (short for magno cachinno = LOL).

For describing those modern (in)conveniences consult the vocab list of the Vatican Office of Latin Letters.

My personal favourite is prándii appendix = dessert.

You can add Latin news updates, broadcast weekly from Finland since 1989.

It seems Latin is indeed alive and kicking online, as the Economist noticed this week.

Why not try Facebook in Latin for a change?
